YMMV / Generic Fishing Game

• Awesome Art: Even if the art-style looks crude, the four regular fish are nicely designed.
• Breather Level: The third segment is the only one where you can't die. It can be somewhat hard to properly hook onto the growths, but it's much easier the second or fourth one, both of which require dodging killer fish.
• Play-Along Meme: Despite the game being tagged "horror" and quickly escalating to nightmarish levels, many commentors follow the title's cue and pretend the game is actually a generic fishing simulator.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Oh look, a fishing game. It may be simple but this should be a simplistic game kids can enjoy. After all, it's fishing in general. Well just as you begin to play it, there's a lot more than just fishing.
• The Woobie: The poor fisherman gets dragged into a meaty hellscape, chased by monstrous fish and even eaten alive at one point. It's hard not to sympathize with his Troubled Fetal Position at the end.
