The debate was hosted at Ham's Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky, and was live-streamed on YouTube. The debate largely left the question of creation versus evolution unsettled in the minds of the American public, and though Nye is generally seen as having "won" the debate, he was criticized for giving credibility to AiG by accepting the debate to begin with.
