YMMV / Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers

  • Sequel Difficulty Drop: You can snipe enemies through cover with Riflemen/Squad Leaders, (If they don't have airstrikes) ammo crates restore grenades now and you get to control armored vehicles.
  • Sequel Difficulty Spike: Enemies will try to flank you in combat instead of being stationary, cover is alot more unforgiving with even a slight unexposed angle usually resulting in a downed soldier and soldiers go down always in one hit instead of having the chance to take a hit and keep fighting.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!:
    • The increased difficulty was generally not received well.
    • All of the non-Squad Leaders have drastically reduced personality and changed voice actors for most of the original cast while the new characters aren't fleshed out at all.
    • The fact enemies have far faster reaction times/better accuracy, your troops always going down in one shot and limited reinforcements combine to make the occasional rare moments where the game's cover system fails to work far more frustrating than the original, as you now must either load a checkpoint or be permanently down a soldier for the rest of that chapter through no fault of your own.
