• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Joe survived as a mascot in Chile longer than the rest of the world, appearing in safety PSAs with ACHS mascot Segurito until 2012. Brazil also noticeably used similar musical trailers to Front Row Joe in Cinemark theaters until 2018.
• Popular with Furries: The trailers have had an enormous following of furries since the very early days of the community's mainstream prominence. Joe, Penny and Elton are especially popular with the furry community, in particular cat lovers.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The 2004-2009 trailers elicit this reaction from some people. "Late For Showtime" drastically cuts the animation budget that the other trailers had, doesn't even feature a catchy song, and in fact doesn't have any dialogue whatsoever (this article mentions that Happy Trails Animation was given just five weeks to make that particular trailer). The other trailers from this era have Joe in CGI, said CGI generally considered to be in the Unintentional Uncanny Valley, and once again have no singing or dialogue from Joe, and Elton and Clyde don't even appear.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: A lot of first time viewers of "We're Gonna Party" think the opening roller coaster graphics were done with CGI. They weren't. They were accomplished through a slitscan technique on a motion-controlled animation stand, requiring many camera tests and hours of shooting backlit artwork in a darkroom.
