YMMV / Fire Emblem: Code of the Burger King

  • Game-Breaker:
    • B-Siding resetting your character's level while unpromoted does not come at the cost of base stats. This means that a character will be able to keep gaining stats, and their reduced level means they'll gain EXP more quickly and let them catch up after losing nine or more levels to the reclass. Thus, you'll have characters with several capped stats unpromoted, leading to them becoming extremely powerful promoted.
    • In terms of characters, Matthis is arguably the best unit in the game for the simple reason of being a mounted unit with Aggravate (Provoke). This simple bit of utility lets him effectively lead the more fragile members of your team into potentially dangerous waters, where they'll be protected by his skill causing him to take all the damage they would have taken otherwise. Give him the Hoplon Guard to negate his main weakness (his luck) and have someone ready with healing staves nearby, and you'll be able to play a lot more aggressively as long as he's on the field.
  • Self-Imposed Challenge: With how B-sides work, various characters can be reclassed into classes that don't exactly fit their initial stat spreads, but can be fun to use if trained up. Among them...
    • Mercenary Priscilla starts with a horrible Strength stat, but an adequate growth and some Energy Rings can patch her up and make her a decent Hero once she can use stronger weapons.
    • Mage Lynhardt will arguably never be good without heavy investment, which involves giving her any Placebo Drops and Spirit Rings you find. It is, admittedly, a meme build, though if trained up she can make for a strange example of a Stone Wall.
