• Better on DVD: The DVD version features several deleted scenes of Brian and Dylan catching up before Brian asks Dylan if he can be a writer on the Disney show Dylan is starring in. This original cut implies that Brian's desire to get on the show was a later decision he made and that he actually wanted to reconnect with Dylan (while the TV version makes it clear he only wants to hang with with Dylan to be on the show so he can further his writing career), which many viewers felt would have given Brian and Dylan's fallout and later reconciliation more emotional weight.
• Catharsis Factor:
  • Peter getting a Boom, Headshot! from Quagmire is undeniably satisfying, especially considering Peter had flat-out raped Susie, Joe's baby daughter, beforehand.
  • For those who hate Quagmire, him getting shot in the arm.
• Fan-Preferred Cut Content: A lot of fans have said that they preferred if the deleted scenes of Brian and Dylan catching up were in the final cut as it would give Brian and Dylan's fallout more emotional weight.
