- "Funny Aneurysm" Moment: At one point, Bossk pretends that he's a blind man and Ezra is his seeing-eye boy & apprentice. Ezra's master, Kanan, ends up blind. However, there's no way the author could have known this in advance as only those involved in the development of Rebels and the Story Group were aware of what would happen, thus averting the Harsher in Hindsight trope.
- Harsher in Hindsight: At the end, Jenkes's actions are said to have been an embarrassment to the local garrison. In the Rebels Magazine, there's a comic where Assessor Potalla lists some of their failures. While the incident with Jenkes is never mentioned, it's certain that it was definitely on Potalla's list of receipts to the Imperials on Lothal. Her visit ends up causing a chain of events that causes Lothal to suffer, as well as causing other Imperial officers in the garrison to suffer too.
