• Broken Base: Either you're on Eddy's side and root for him to get revenge on Kevin for his actions in previous episodes or you're on Kevin's side and sympathise with him because Eddy had exploited his fear of needles, Eddy going as far as using Double D as a Human Shield when the jig is up might help those who took the latter option. You might also think that while Kevin deserved some form of karma for his actions, Eddy should not have gone as far as sending the school into an uproar out of jealously just to get back at the former.
• Catharsis Factor: Eddy continuously tormenting Kevin with the needle, especially considering the latter's performance in "Your Ed Here".
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: While Ed and Eddy were supposed to be seen in the wrong for exploiting Kevin's fear of needles, many fans rooted for them to get back at Kevin for all the crap he put them through.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
  • We're supposed to feel sorry for Kevin when Eddy uses his fear of needles against him. However, given what a bully Kevin tends to be, many fans feel that it is well-deserved (especially after watching the infamous "Your Ed Here" episode).
  • Also, quite a few fans were not pleased by Double D siding with him over his friend Eddy despite the fact that Eddy started the whole incident out of his jealousy.
