  • Awesome Art: Gorgeously drawn.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: The Gaster Blaster who ended up with one of Papyrus' bones stuck in his mouth for a while, displaying a face full of bewilderment, caught the eyes of quite a few readers. Lynx himself caught on to this, and drew this for the poor little guy.
  • The Woobie:
    • Alphys: she got convinced in helping Frisk and Flowey with their crazy plan, and when everything goes wrong, she earns the scorn of Toriel, who with a single, chilling stare makes it adamantly clear that she is furious. The poor lizard woman is overcome with guilt, and Undyne is initially at a loss on how to make her feel better.
    • Toriel: Frisk, who has become her child and who she loves tenderly, is in a coma, and doesn't seem to wake up. When they do wake up, they are not themselves anymore, and they act incredibly cruel to her by revealing that her biological son is still alive (in a sense) and asking her point blank if she is going to replace them, just like she did with all the other kids she took care of. Toriel, unnerved and in tears, flees the kitchen. She eventually realizes that they are Chara and try to tell them that she is sorry, but time is stopped and it is unclear if Chara heard her. In the end, Chara is gone and they didn't have the chance to talk. She is reunited with Flowey, but he makes it clear he isn't Asriel anymore, and she can only say her final goodbyes to the son she knew.
    • Chara. Sure, their behavior was insensitive, egoistical and borderline cruel, but when you understand their plight, you can't help but sympathize with them. The sheer relief that they feel when they understand that they can finally be free makes it abundantly clear that it is all that they ever wanted.
    • Gaster: he only meant well, but his actions ultimately brought more harm than good, and he ended up being stuck between time and space, surrounded by the victims of his experiments. Crushed by regrets, he doesn't even think he deserves Mercy, and has lost all hope of escaping his prison.
