• Archive Panic: Maybe not quite as much of a panic as certain other Chinese cartoons, but 286 episodes and a movie isn't anything to sneeze at either. This is actually more than Dora the Explorer, which Doby & Disy started out as a direct knockoff of.
• Broken Aesop: The entire idea that Caesar is there to teach children not to steal becomes pointless when you consider that the series started out as a mockbuster of Dora the Explorer, with Caesar himself being an expy of Swiper.
• Captain Obvious Reveal: In Season 2 episode 37b, the gang investigate the cause of a power outage and find out it's because someone stole the fan blades from a windmill that was powering their technology. While on their investigation, they talk to Caesar, who chickens out of the conversation. The surrounding context of Caesar being a thief, combined with this interaction, makes it obvious who stole the fan blades, even before it's revealed who it was.
