• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Weiss Schnee was captured to be used as bait in the original version of the tale. Given her capture by Yang's evil mother Raven, and her Disney Death at the hands of Cinder Fall, in Volume 5, it was a good thing she was written out when Gentaro's Epilogue was retooled into Diamond Adventure.
  • Sora's Friendly Rivalry with Ratchet is shown in full force here, with them at one point speaking about the bet against Maleficent. In Rainbow Rivalries, Ratchet goes on to fight Maleficent for Sora (and Jak), and learns that she may have played a role in the downfall of the Lombaxes.
