• Alas, Poor Scrappy: The Inhumans had a polarizing reputation due to the perceived Character Shilling they had been given but seeing them get so brutalized made many fans feel pity.
• Audience-Alienating Premise: Death of the Inhumans, which is exactly what it sounds like - killing off the Inhumans via Mass Bridging. Even some of those who didn't like the push Marvel was giving them think murdering them all was an overreaction and a waste of characters.
• Pandering to the Haters: Killing off the Inhumans and erasing its mythos was done to please the hatedom that the Inhumans had gathered due to Marvel's extensive pushing of them over the X-Men in the 2010s.
