• Fridge Horror: Word of God has pointed out some of this concerning the 'Treasured Memory' ending:
  • Firstly, Ayumi's sacrifice lets the Sachiko who helped them take her place, and ensures none of her friends were drawn into Heavenly Host. Sounds great, right? Until you realize that since they never enter the cursed school, they never defeated the vengeful Sachiko either. Meaning she's still there, drawing other victims in.
  • In addition, despite this major change, Naomi still ends up trapped in Divine Blessing Hospital. Only in this new continunity, she doesn't have any prior experience with closed, cursed dimensions.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: For some, Yuka's portrayal made a ton of people actually like her (instead of feeling apathy or annoyance for her).
• The Woobie: You will want to hug Ayumi during the events of this game.
