- Narm: While good at making an RTT game, Stormreigion's development team could not write romance for beans. The Soviet Campaign of Phase One has a rather iffy romance between Alezkei and a Soviet spy that Alezkei was not expecting to be a woman. The poor acting would make it cringe-inducing but seeing the less than well-aged models that are used for cutscenes deliver heartfelt lines while utterly stonefaced will either be highly amusing or creepy.
- Phase Two has more expressive models for cutscenes. This usually results in them having to get a bit physically emotive just to get the point across - they are, after all, more expressive than Phase One's models. Though given the presence of an Italian hero, it's possible one could joke he'd just be that emotive anyways.
- Sequelitis: Cold War. Its development finished under a different publisher who rushed the development, and was criticized for its simplified gameplay, inclusion of anachronistic vehicles, and lack of an Eastern Bloc campaign.
