Fans feel that it adds an exciting new element to the game and enjoy how it can lead to unexpected situations the players have to adapt to. Detractors dislike it because it introduces an element of chance where an unlucky misprediction can screw you over, which devalues the planning and analysis they enjoyed in Chess 1.
