- Bizarro Episode: "Capelito". The episode is about Capelito desperately trying to wake himself up from a dream he's having. Most of the episode takes place in said dream, so things get pretty surreal ("multiple Capelitos seen at the same time" doesn't even begin to cover it).
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Japanese viewers absolutely loved Capelito back when it aired on the Japanese station NHK. It gets to the point that most of the comments on the episodes uploaded to YouTube are in Japanese.
