• Accidental Innuendo: "Wish You Were Here" begins and ends with Cassie caught in the clutches of a tentacle monster (specifically a giant alien cuttlefish) and making some unintentionally suggestive grunts and moans. The monster also raises an eyebrow to the fourth wall after a particularly suggestive moan on the Iris Out.
• Ho Yay: In reference to Some Like It Hot in the episode Fashion Victim Marion dresses in drag to convince a Bouncer to let him into a fashion show to save Cassie. The Bouncer ends up getting so attached to Marion he doesn't mind married him even when Marion reveals that he's a boy.
