- Alternative Character Interpretation: Billy is basically confirmed to be on the autism spectrum and seems to be somewhat aware of it. While the intended interpretation is that this is a case of Disability as an Excuse for Jerkassery, it's also pretty easy to view some of the harsher treatment he's received as being flat-out ableist instead of just tough love or necessary discipline. It doesn't help that everyone from Billy's parents to Billy's teachers like to throw the ableist slur "retard(ed)" at him when they're frustrated with him.
- Narm: As it's based on the infamous GoAnimate grounded videos, this is a given.
- "Billy argues in the library and gets grounded" has Billy insult his teacher by calling her the positively Shakespearean word "strumpet," which the characters treat with more gravitas than one might expect.
- Special Effect Failure: Say whatever you want about GoAnimate, at the very least it HAS animations for emotions outside smiling. Here, no matter how angry, sad, scared, shocked, or hurt a character is, they'll always look happy.
