• Americans Hate Tingle: The CG animation is rather terrifying, so it’s understandable why she is only popular in France. The fact her music is only sung in French also means everywhere else could care less.
• Pop-Culture Isolation: Unless you’re French or have a good look deep onto YouTube, you have never heard of her.
• Signature Song: “Allo Papy” and “Les bêtises”
• Uncanny Valley: The CG animation is simply not good, even for 2005. And the character designs are creepy to look at as a result. Even though Lilly not having any teeth is only natural for a baby, it's especially not pleasing to look at her, and has even grossed people out.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: Lilly does not show many feminine characteristics. It's easy to get confused about her gender at first.
