  • Pascal: does he really love Moll or is it an act? Detective Kelly thinks he's incapable of love, but some of his interactions with Moll leave the impression that he does love her in his own twisted way because "they're the same"; either that or he's a really good actor. And what was his motivation for pursuing a relationship with her? Was he planning on making her his next victim or a partner in his crimes?
  • Moll, especially regarding her motivations for what she does in the ending. Does she kill Pascal to get some form of justice for the girls he murdered, to atone for her role in helping him evade justice, out of revenge for him lying to her and putting her through hell, to finally give in to her worst impulses and take a life or a mix of all of this? When she coaxed the truth out of him, was she always planning on killing him or was it more of a spur-of-the-moment decision?
