• Hilarious in Hindsight: Penguin's comment at the end of the episode about how "Society Is to Blame- High society, that is", much like Harley Quinn making a similar comment in a later episode, becomes this in light of the "society" meme associated with his fellow Gotham Rogue the Joker.
• Jerkass Woobie: Penguin may be a hardened criminal, but after being lured into a mean-spirited prank by Veronica Vreeland, whom he actually started to see as a friend, you can't help but feel bad for him.
