• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot
  • The tsunami. Losing one's entire hometown and school (and in Yukari-sensei's case, loved ones) would seem like a traumatic event that would deeply impact the protagonists, but after a chapter, it's forgotten about.
  • Kuromorimine's loss against Saunders results in people questioning the Nishizumi style. After a paragraph, the story immediately moves on to Oarai preparing for their next opponent, so that event seems to be little more than an excuse for them to face Saunders instead of Kuromorimine.
