• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • During the opening scene, Roger, who's dressed as The Crypt Keeper, after being told that Maggie already shot Mr. Burns 15 years before, laments that he now wants a baby. Almost a decade later in "Persona Assistant", he does have a Mini-Me named Rogu, a homunculus that was born from his tumor.
  • When Hayley and Jeff elope and Stan promises 50,000 dollars to anyone who can stop the wedding, a news report shows an artist's rendering of the couple...and it's a picture of Velma and Shaggy, prompting Jeff to exclaim "Zoinks!" There would later be a Halloween Episode with a Whole-Plot Reference to Scooby Doo, and guess who Jeff is dressed as?
