• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Deke doesn't mention it, but there is another good reason for Deke Squad to conduct clandestine operations while performing as a rock band: the Cacophony Cover Up from their venues would make it very difficult for their enemies to eavesdrop on them.
  • While it initially seems off for Deke to be aware of recreational drug use in general, but — in the same conversation — be unaware that the "coke" Cricket sells isn't Coca-Cola, it makes more sense when you remember he's from the future, and is probably more familiar with the names of designer drugs that don't exist yet.
• Special Effect Failure:
  • Mack's Beard of Sorrow is hilariously fake.
  • The transition of Sybil's robots from on-set animatronic props to CGI can be very obvious. Best exhibited by how they get defeated — with one played by a prop simply getting a small, harmless explosion underneath while remaining largely intact with cheap CGI fire pasted on top of the footage; while another robot turns CGI in order to be blown up into thousands of pieces.
