Generally, Carazar Zone's channel is a great source of information about production-related trivia, including characters' prototype designs, creators' intentions behind decisions and references, and changes in the script.

Disventure Camp Season 2

Episode 1
  • Originally, a black silhouette of Chris giving off a malevolent aura was meant to appear when Oliver was hallucinating him, but it was abandoned to avoid potential issues with FreshTV.
  • Lake was originally going to have more timid personality, but was changed to more cheerful so that Maggy and Tess would be the ones with social problems instead.
  • Kristal's clothes color pattern was originally going to be exact the same as Chris's from Total Drama, but the it had to be changed to avoid potential issues with FreshTV.

Episode 2

  • In the Spanish version, Ally was meant to say she didn't bring enough consoles with her, just like in English, as opposed to 'not many'.
  • Karol was initially meant to have a connection with even wilder animals, but it was changed so that her connection to fauna had more weight.
  • A scene of Hunter and Ally playing Jenga together didn't make it to the final episode.

Episode 3

  • At the beginning of the episode, James would've told Aiden that he plans for the two to ally with Yul.
  • The script said that Riya was turning 30 as opposed to 29.
  • Kai's confessional about a kiss was removed. In it, he described a kiss as a bridge that joins two souls to allow themselves to savor the purest essence of each other.
  • Nina calling Kristal stupid was removed.
  • The kissing challenge was already considered in the previous season, but was scrapped because it would've been not appropriate to have a six years old Fiore participate in it.

Episode 4

  • Originally, after the challenge ended, Lake would've asked Aiden to vote for Yul, to which he agreed, but revealed in a confessional that he'd be voting for one of the girls instead as their trio poses a threat for the future. Then, he'd ask James to do the same. The original version was changed on the account of Aiden's strategy seeming too similar to James's from Episode 2 and thus not matching Aiden's personality.
  • The pictures of a bald Lake and Ally in her Playboy Bunny costume weren't originally in and were only added during production.

Episode 5

  • Originally, the episode was supposed to feature a talent contest as a challenge instead.
  • In an earlier version of the script, it was actually revealed in this episode who found the immunity totem.
  • Another change in the script included Rosa Maria having to burn her books instead of Lake. The girls' roles were switched to highlight Lake's Character Development.
  • The entire plot of a failed attempt to poison Aiden was different. Yul would first have to find plants and investigate if they're poisonous. Being burden by his conscience, James would've revealed the plan to everyone to prevent Aiden from getting poisoned. In turn, Yul would've threatened to cancel him online. However, James would've offered Aiden and Lake to vote for Yul right in front of the latter's face, resulting in him simply getting voted out as opposed to poisoned instead.

Episode 6

  • The "Visiting Hours" short was meant to be released before this episode to give the scene where Kristal talks about her bad relationship with her father more value.

Episode 7

  • In the first version of the script, Ally asked Hunter and Tess to vote for her to mislead the others to believe that the trio is no longer a threat.
  • In the second version, Hunter offered to give Tess his immunity but Kristal told him it's impossible.

Episode 8

  • There was supposed to be a scene where Hunter would face a choice of either saving Lake or avenging Ally. He'd choose to save Lake, but be "killed" in his Heroic Sacrifice.
  • The Night Butcher was initially going to be Mr. Jensen from last season before being switched to Karol.
  • The Night Butcher was also going to be initially caled The Nape Whisperer.
  • A scene written by Carazar Zone was cut. After the challenge, Ally would return to the shower to wash off the ketchup. Hunter would accompany her, feeling guilty over failing to protect her during the challenge. After a short talk, Ally would invite Hunter to the shower with her, which he'd accept.

Episode 9

  • There were 3 different scenarios for how James and Aiden would've found out about Karol scheming against them. In the first version, James failed to convince Aiden that they're targeted by Karol because she kept an eye on him with wild animals, preventing him from even warning Aiden. However, in an unexpected twist, Aiden sabotaged Karol for mere prevention. In the second version, James and Aiden would hide behind a rock during the second stage of the challenge and overhear Karol's plans. The third version ended up being the canon one.
  • Instead of talking at a bar with Connor, Oliver was originally going to have a talk with Chef Hatchet, who knows full well how it feels to deal with McLeans. However, it was changed to avoid issues with FreshTV.

Episode 10

  • Oliver was originally listening in on Marcus's conversation with Kristal and thus worried about her health.
  • Orginally, Kristal was the one who kicked Hunter out of the production tent during the challenge.
  • Rosa Maria's initial reaction to finding out that Riya had framed her and stole her totem was more surprised and sad than confrontational and disappointed.
  • There were three versions of the script for this episode in total.

Episode 11

  • Originally, instead of pushing Aiden into the lake, James held his hand and the two jumped together.
  • Hunter asking Kristal why she doesn't mind Nina during the second challenge was removed.
  • A scene where Oliver talked to Kristal about his current situation was removed from this episode and moved to the following one instead, in a different form.
  • The episode was originally titled "Deliz Extremo" ("X-Treme Slip"), referencing the act of jumping in the first challenge as well as James's slip in the episode.
  • The question about which character was trans would've been answered in an Iceberg video if it hadn't been revealed on the show.

Episode 12

  • Kristal's change was originally supposed to be symbolized by her letting her hair loose rather than getting a new outfit. There's also official art of how she'd look like with her hair loose.
  • A bit of dialogue was removed where Connor asks Riya during the climbing challenge where's the noble girl he met on the camp, while she answers that she had left that failure version of her long time ago.
Episode 13
  • In the first version of the script, Riya lost her perfume in the underwater cave part of the challenge in this episode.
  • After Karol delivered Precision F-Strike to James, Lake shot her with a golf ball.
  • As James claims his award, Maggie would've complimented Lake's new wig. In contrast, Yul would've insulted her, causing Kai to tell him he should use the opportunity to improve but to no avail, resulting in Kai insulting him again.
  • In the very first version of the script, Oliver would've been promoted to a chef for the next season as opposed to challenge supervisor.

Disventure Camp: All-Stars

  • As revealed by Silly Billy, an early draft of characters to compete in the season included the first boot of one season (likely Will, given that Oliver was confirmed to be a part of the production team in Season 2's finale) and didn't include one of the past winners.
