Young Blood follows the lives of a group of young adults, their experiences of friendship, romance and drama while they navigate their futures and look for their place in the world.
Young Blood is a Webtoon that started in 2018 and is drawn and written by Javi/JV
. It can be read in English here.
The series is put on hiatus as the author seems to be planning on rewriting it.
Not to be confused with the print comic with a very similar name, except written without a space.
Provides examples of:
- All Girls Want Bad Boys: Out of the 3 main female characters, two of them seem to be interested in Chase, who definitely has the bad boy look going on. Leather clothes? Check. Rides a bike? Check. Has tattoos? Check. Smokes? Check.
- Ambiguously Bi:
- Subverted. Pepper states early on in the story that she used to have a relationship with a girl.
- Topaz has shown an interest in women, but it has yet to be confirmed she's a lesbian. She might as well be bi, pan, ...
- Meaningful Name: In the sense that many of the characters have quite literal names. It's uncertain whether this is a theme, coincidence or just the preference of the writer.
