- Crippling the Competition: In an attempt to win the competition to see who becomes leader of the Wind Warriors, Cyclone sabotages the competition by poisioning Stratos eventually killing him in the process
- Magical Eye: Cyclone's eye color shifts to black upon being labeled as the newly appointed leader of the Wind Warriors.
- Rookie Red Ranger: Impressed by Zephyr's ability to master the tornado faster then any other elemental at the academy of air, Nimbus places Zephyr in charge of the Wind Warriors.
- Tornado Move: Pretty much applies to every character in the comic, as all air elementals in the comic have the ability to transform into destructive tornadoes.
- Touch of Death: Cyclone as he crystalizes Stratos, which slowly ends up killing him.
