Steve Lichmen is a comic
Steve Lichmen provides examples of the following tropes:
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Most monsters, including Steven, Flay, and Dracula, fall under this trope. Whereas in official D&D sources most of them are Always Evil, monster characters in this story have very human personalities and a wide range of moralities.
- Even Evil Has Standards: The devil tells Dracula to tone it down after he points out the devil's usage of the phrase "The C word" when he just said cunt before it, telling Dracula that "Once is enough for today".
- Killed Mid-Sentence: Jason is killed mid-sentence by an adventuring party only eight panels after he was introduced, and right after he told Steven about his plans to propose to Stacy.
- Our Vampires Are Different: The "Psy Vamps" are vampires that feed on emotion rather than blood.
- Peer-Pressured Bully: Steve is pressured by Kiefer and his crush to insult Ollie ruthlessly.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Flay's reaction after Steven gets peer pressured into partaking in a cult's ritual, and then going mental insulting Ollie.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Kiefer beats Dracula in the bike race, resulting in Dracula getting kicked out of the dungeon by his own friends.
- Virgin Power: Played for Laughs. The warrior in the first and second pages is unable to kill Steven because he had sex (See the Quotes page). The next panel has Steve and Dracula talking about how none of these 30-year old warriors seem to be virgins anymore.
