Moscow Calling is a Webcomic based around JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Moscow Calling takes place in Russia in 2000. This story is about Georgiy Lastochkin, an 18-year old Russian student with mysterious stand. Living in Vladivostok, he studies at a local university, and happens to have a crush on one of his classmates. On one end he has to deal with his everyday life as a student - on the other, he needs to deal with the mysteries of his Stand.

One day he begins travelling throughout Russia, all the way from Vladivostok to Moscow! There are sure to be faithful friends and clever enemies, comedy and drama, and of course - Stand battles. Learn what it means to be a Russian Stand user in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Moscow Calling!

Moscow Calling contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Blessed with Suck: Stigmata for Father Vlad.
  • Character Catchphrase: Georgiy often uses the word "yokelemene", which expresses strong emotions like surprise, fright, anger, irritation. This word cannot be translated properly and was popular in Russia at the time.
  • Children Are Innocent: Varya, Georgiy's little sister.
  • Light Is Not Good: Peresvet Union, although is an Orthodox Christianity organization, serves as an antagonist.
  • Mama Bear: Suspecting that Father Vlad is after Georgiy, Elena lashes out at him with a kitchen knife to protect her son.
  • Muggingthe Monster: When Tolya wanted to beat up Georgiy. Who would know Georgiy had a stand...
  • Musical Theme Naming: The regular applies, with stands being named after songs, but in Moscow Calling all of them are named after Russian songs.
