The Transformers: VS Series is a six part stop-motion video series on Youtube. The premise of the series is that Transformers from G1 face their counterparts from different universes, usually the G1 incarnation against the incarnation from the live action movies, against their counterpart from Beast Wars.
Trope exampled in this series include:
- Butt-Monkey: Waspinator, as usual.
- G1 Bumblebee takes quite a bit of abuse in Bumblebee vs Bumblebee vs Cheetor, such as colliding with Cheetor and getting blown up by Bayverse Bumblebee.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Bayverse Bumblebee completely owns Cheetor and G1 Bumblebee, blowing G1 Bumblebee out of frame and beating up Cheetor with his own gun.
- Bayverse Starscream easily beats Waspinator and G1 Starscream.
- Gasshole: Rhinox in Ironhide vs Ironhide vs Rhinox, though it is downplayed since he only farts once.
- No-Sell: When Bayverse Bumblebee and G1 Bumblebee shoot at each other, G1 Bumblebee’s shot only slightly dislodges an armor panel that Movie Bumblebee quickly knocks back into place, Movie Bumblebee’s shot on the other hand…
- Suddenly Shouting: Bayverse Bumblebee introduces himself.''Bayverse Bumblebee: (In Optimus Prime’s voice) My name is- (in Sam’s voice) BUMBLEBEE!!!
