WMG / Yohane the Parhelion -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-

Go To

As an spinoff towards a popular idol franchise, its anime adaptation will feature Disneyesque musical numbers from the main characters.
  • For an idol franchise that mainly focuses on music production, distubation, and live performances, it won't be uncommon to hear some original songs made for this series.

    • Confirmed. Yohane starts singing as magic happens in the first episode.

They're gonna be some sort of threat lurking in the shadows on and through the story
  • I mean, how do you explain the earthquakes happening at Numazu, or the miasma affecting the animals at the forest (and possibly seas too)? Neither the threat is formed naturally, or there's going to be some sort of Big Bad who's motive we don't exactly know about?

    • Confirmed. There apparently wasn't a Big Bad, but there was a threat of a magical nature, known from ancient records.

ยต's are literal goddesses in this universe.

Dia is actually a fairy like Ruby.
  • With the reveal that Ruby can take human form, there's the possibility that Dia simply does it most of the time for the sake of work, to appear more dependable and reliable to others. It'd answer the question of how their being sisters works, as well. It'd also play on how Dia in Sunshine!! behaved exactly like Ruby when she was younger.

    • The exact nature of Ruby's changing feature is never revealed in the series.
    • Confirmed. Said feature gets a fuller explanation in the audio drama accompanying the third Blu-Ray set. Dia reveals that Ruby's only unable to remain human-sized for long due to her power not having stabilized yet. Later in the dialogue, she explicitly confirms herself to be a fairy.

This is the real world; Yohane et al. being regular schoolgirls forming an idol group is just the daydream.

This is the world of the Love Live series after being sucked into Kriemhild Gretchen's barrier.
  • Or perhaps Homucifer's.
