WMG / Welcome To Eden 2022

Go To

Mayka will be punished for allowing Charly to get on the boat.

Mayka previously told Charly that she joined Eden because she felt rejected by her inner circle and the society because of her gender identity. In Eden it was all the opposite as they came to accept her for who she was and let her be. However, her loyalty to Eden was put to the test after meeting Charly. It is possible that either Mayka will be executed for such act of treason or have a Heel–Face Turn and join Bel's rebellion against Astrid using her technology skills as strategies to help the others escape the island.

Jossed. While Astrid and Erick do find out about Mayka helping Charly and are upset with her, they do not punish her. She convinces them to give Charly a final chance when he was about to be executed for trying to escape. They force Charly to be Som's link, threatening to kill one of his brothers if he doesn't comply. And because she's the most loyal Eden member, Mayka does not join Bel's rebellion as to not get in more trouble.

Zoa will be assigned as her sister Gabi's "link".

This theory is probably to happen. Astrid asked Mayka about a girl getting invited to Eden and she answered that she was the first of all the guests to confirm her arrival. Gabi is that girl. However, as Astrid in the dark about Gabi's true identity, she would have Zoa become her "link" to keep her on the island. This will possibly generate a source of tension between the sisters as Zoa wil try and tell her that Eden is not what it seems and Gabi not believing her as before when she warned her multiple times about their mother's untrustworthiness.

Jossed. Zoa doesn't become Gabi's link as she's already managed to win over Astrid, but the sisters still fight a lot when Zoa keeps warning her that Eden is not the most pleasant place to stay forever.

If Charly manages to get off the island, he will tell the police about Eden but they won't believe him.

The last time we saw Charly, he had managed to get on the boat and almost caught by Mayka who decided against reporting him. If he does manage to make it back into the city, Charly will go straight to the police and report Eden's existence but the cops will dismiss his claims. It's highly possible that the private investigator hired by Ibón's father will team up with him to uncover Eden's secrets and get everyone back to safety.

Jossed. Charly is foiled in his escape attempt, captured by the military team and caged with África. He never actually gets to meet the detective.

How does Ibón feel after killing Ulises?

Ibón will feel traumatized for killing Ulises for potential reasons:

  • 1. Ulises's ghost starting to haunt Ibón.
  • 2. Ibón going into a full Took a Level in Jerkass mode as a way to cope with his guilty conscience, to the point of pushing Alma away from that burden.
  • 3. Falling into a depression and eventually comitting suicide rather than face punishment or going back to his father.

Confirmed. Ibón does feel traumatized for killing Ulises, but when Eva makes Eloy take the fall, he goes to Alma and admits that he's the true culprit. Nonetheless, Ibón dies anyway at the hands of Alma, who was willing to get her place back at Eden.

África pushing the button that sent a signal to outer space. What does it mean for Eden?

As we saw earlier, Isaac, the little boy Zoa saw and who healed Erick back to health wanting to know when he could leave and Astrid only replied "soon". After África entered a room in the compound and pushed a button that sent a signal to outer space, an antenna near Isaac started moving. This is probably a hint that Isaac will get to leave. But does it also mean that Eden is now visible on the map?

Fran faked his death and is the one who hacked Mayka's laptop to project the death threat directed to Astrid and secretly stole Ulises' access card to get into the compound to attack Astrid and Erick

It is highly implied that Fran evaded being executed by Eden. After he was caught by Eva and Brenda confirmed that the job was done, however, his death wasn't shown onscreen. Thus, he is working on his own accord to bring Eden down and release the imprisoned residents.

Jossed. Fran is still dead and the unknown assailant is revealed to be Saúl, the person in charge of medicine, who's seeking revenge on Astrid for the death of Graciela, his predecessor and mentor who originally started the rebellion led by Bel. However, Saúl's mission is in vain after África knocks him out and he is shot to death by Joel and his team.
