Sally Shine is the second Morgan Matthews.
- Perhaps for some strange reason, the change from Lily!Morgan to Lindsay!Morgan was due to the fact that Sally simply moved on to another universe and assumed another identity instead of being with her family during the end of the film, even going so far as to taking Gilbert's sense of sarcasm with her.
- Or this could be an alternate Boy Meets World reality in a similar vein to the episodes "No Guts, No Cory" and "As Time Goes By".
The film takes place in a computer simulation.
- Notice how seemingly tangible the hotel guests are despite being "ghosts". They could be somehow similar to the ghosts from System Shock, or AI constructs who happened to have additional abilities hence why they are able to disappear and appear at will.
