She didn't kill him, or arrange for him to be killed, but she still has something to hide. He died of a drug overdose; was killed by drug lords or mobsters that the couple got tangled up in; eaten by an illegally purchased tiger, etc. She's not acting suspicious because she directly caused or planned his death, but because his death would reveal something else that could get her into some heavy doo-doo.Depending on the above options, she still may have fed him to the tigers, to cover up the drug use or illicit exotic animal handling.
