Mother Horse Eyes is a Flesh Interface
Either she is an actual being on the other side of the interface that only children can get to (as adults get devoured and merged into the interface ala the guy in post 23), or she is the actual interface, and the house she lives in with the children is what the children's minds are interpreting their time in the interface as.- In post 45, the child narrator who lives with Mother Horse Eyes describes how Mother Horse Eyes assembles and reassembles herself to flute music. In post 29, when the agents sent birds through the portal, they came back imitating "flute-like speech music."
- In post 14, the little girl sent through, Jingles, came back and described the other side of the portal as reminding her of a room in her grandmother's house. The child who lives with mother Horse Eyes describes them living in what looks like his own house, which could mean that when they are sent through the interface, the location takes shape based on their memories, or that Nick's house looks like Jingles' grandmother's place.
- The child who lives with mother Horse Eyes in post 25 describes her as being made of different pieces of animal flesh badly stitched together. This could be related to the Flesh interfaces themselves being made out of merged pieces of meat and body parts.
- In post 25 and in other posts centering on the child who lives with Mother Horse Eyes (like 99), the child mentions that there are other children in the house in cages, and how Mother takes them into the basement and "makes them into things." This could be talking about how the children the CIA sends through the interfaces come back altered, and the general Body Horror through the series.
- In post 31, the little girl who survived the Flesh Interface and escaped to Estonia says that she stayed with Mother Horse Eyes for a summer before being adopted by her Estonian parents. The Agent recounting this is surprised, because she was in their custody during that time.
