WMG / Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! meets Courage the Cowardly Dog

Go To

This move takes place in the same continuity as Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?.
  • The film's creators did say that it was originally pitched as an episode of SD&GW.

Other Courage characters appearing in the film.
  • The guy who says "Watch where you're going you fool".
    • Jossed.
  • The computer.
    • Confirmed.
  • Shirley.
    • Jossed.
  • Dr. Vindaloo. Though if he doesn't have at least a few touchups it could be a problem, considering today's times.
    • Jossed.

If the giant Cicadas are real, Velma will have a breakdown.
Like in Goblin King, and the Mystery Incorporated episode, Nightmare in Red.
  • Jossed.

The giant Cicadas are looking for treasure. Prompting one Eustace to find it.
Eustace: Treasure? I win!

The film will include many of Courage's running gags.
Such as "That's it! I'm getting my mallet", "something smells fishy, or my name is X. And it's not", and "Ooga Booga Booga".
  • Confirmed for the "Ooga Booga Booga" mask.
  • But jossed for the first two.

Katz will be the mastermind behind the alien cicadas.
As for why he is doing this, it could be that after the events of "Ball of Revenge," Katz somehow survived falling to his seeming death (likely a nod on the belief of cats having nine lives), and is planning on finally destroying Courage.
  • Confirmed! Katz is indeed behind this, alongside with Le Quack.

Courage will FINALLY reunite with his long-lost parents.
The original synopsis mentioned a "mystical UFO", so not only could it explain where the cicadas came from, but if we're lucky, chances are they were either abducted or somehow hitched a ride.
  • Jossed, unfortunately.

Something bad will happen to Eustace, only for him to show up perfectly okay later
As a reference to how the Status Quo Is God and will always ensure he's back in one piece no matter what horrible fate he suffers. This will also be lampshaded when it happens.

Katz and Le Quack were looking for the meteor in order to create a weapon for an upcoming war.
