    The novel
Kurtz is still alive
As Marlow is an unreliable narrator, he may have been lying at the death of Kurtz. My theory is: after talking with Kurtz when he tried to escape from the Director and others, Marlow is blinded by the promises of money and power, so he let Kurtz ran into the rainforest. Then he told the Director that he had died. Kurtz was housed by the natives and he continued raising ivory. Later he gave the ivory to Marlow, who exported it to Britain and exchanged it for goods in account of a percentage. And the ivory traffic continues...
    The video game
The Vicious Servant is Cyril Sneer
The Master of Darkness recruited him to be his minion, but Cyril refused to work for him after his Character Development. The Master of Darkness tortured and enslaved him to force him to do his evil bidding, corrupting him into the spineless worm seen in the game.
Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors is native to the Darkland
From the similar resemblance being a thinking, feeling, human-eating alien plant with a very animal-like mouth to the fact that in the theater production, a total solar eclipse is described as being when Audrey II came to Earth it isn't too much of a stretch that she may have been the same species as the plant serpents in Heart of Darkness.
