By day I'm a nonfiction writer—a public health policy researcher, to be precise, feeling like I'm in the unenviable position of being the Only Sane Woman when it comes to trying to futureproof society after COVID-19. I'm pursuing a Masters when not juggling policy work or bashing my head against a brick wall of institutional apathy.
As for fiction, I've shelved a few novel manuscripts in the past 10 years, but have never fully given up on the dream of getting a novel published. I don't know if I'll revisit those old works since I've changed a lot in the time since, but I've got a new work-in-progress and feel cautiously optimistic this time.
I'm also a gaymer,note having briefly competed in the least cool part of Riot's League Championship Series—its card game, Legends of Runeterra.
