By day I'm a nonfiction writer--a public health policy researcher, to be precise, feeling like I'm in the unenviable position of being the [[OnlySaneMan Only Sane Woman]] when it comes to trying to futureproof society after COVID-19. I'm pursuing a Masters when not juggling policy work or bashing my head against a brick wall of institutional apathy.
As for fiction, I've shelved a few novel manuscripts in the past 10 years, but have never fully given up on the dream of getting a novel published. I don't know if I'll revisit those old works since I've changed a lot in the time since, but I've got a new work-in-progress and feel cautiously optimistic this time.
