Trivia / Virgo Versus the Zodiac

• What Could Have Been: There are a few things that changed during the game's development:
  • The game was originally going to be in two "Episodes", but the story was eventually fit into just one game.
  • At one point, you would have been able to revisit earlier areas.
  • It was implied that all Zodiacs would be fought, and that all or most of their realms would be visited. In the final version, Aquarius and Libra aren't fought on either route, and only the realms of Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Pisces, Virgo, and Aries are visited (as well as Sagittarius' train). The 2023 content update to the game eventually introduced playable segments that allowed you to explore part of the realms of Gemini, Scorpio, and Libra.
  • More stars were originally planned to appear, including those of Libra and Scorpio. It was also implied that Castor and Pollux, two of Gemini's stars, were going to make an appearance, but they never did (except maybe in a few pictures that don't name them). A new content update to the game would eventually have Castor and Pollux make an appearance in Gemini's playable memory.
  • Pisces originally wore nothing over her chest, with her hair covering her breasts. This might have been changed because people were made uncomfortable by it.
  • Scorpio's early design was much different to her final one. She had purple hair in braids, and had a medical aesthetic, as well as wearing chains.
  • It's implied that the Aries Realm was originally going to have more outdoor areas before you visit the hotel; in the final game, this is reduced to a single cutscene and most of the chapter takes place in the hotel and at the volcano.
