• Creator's Favorite:
  • Bridgette, Geoff, Tyler, Izzy, Trent, Dawn, B, Brick, and Dakota are the author's favorite TD characters, with all of them getting significant focus over most of the canon series' Spotlight-Stealing Squad. However, they still mostly avoid character favoritism as Cody, Harold, Courtney, Sam, and Zoey are also among their favorites, but receive less attention (with Courtney and Sam not even competing at all).
  • The author is a major Geoff/Bridgette fan as well, with the couple and their relationship getting a lot of focus and positive development throughout the story - partly due to the author’s dissatisfaction with how Bridgette and Geoff were almost entirely shafted to being the hosts of the Aftermath following the first season.
• What Could Have Been: Asides from the stuff mentioned on the main page, the author also planned for two sequels.
  • The first would've been an All-Stars kind of season in which ALL of the previous competitors return to Camp Wawanakwa along with 3 new contestants and no non-elimination rounds or returns, are split into a heroes vs. villains team format, compete in challenges themed around individual contestants (i.e. an Owen-themed challenge would involve eating and a Bridgette-themed challenge would be about surfing), and have their storylines concluded. The new Big Bad would be the biggest Bitch in Sheep's Clothing in series history (as in she even hides her evil nature during confessionals), the finalists would be Trent and Courtney, and it would end on a Gainax Ending in which Chris is revealed to have been a supernatural Good All Along Trickster Mentor and then Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence with his duties done.
  • The second would feature a totally new generation of contestants (different from that of Pahkitew Island) on Camp Wawanakwa, with the original 22 contestants now as the show's new hosts, filming crew, and production staff as a sort of "passing the torch".
