- Real-Life Relative: In a couple videos, Tom has cast his Dallas Cowboys fan father Dave (aka "Poppa Grossi") as time-displaced versions of his Cowboys fan characters; once as a desperate Cowboys fan waiting for an NFL scriptwriter to return from a break that took 20 years, and as another awaiting the New York Giants to score in the 2023 week 1 game
between the Giants and Cowboys so he can continue heckling them. They didn't, losing 40-0 to the Cowboys.
