• Cancellation: Tanemura was forced to end the series prematurely because the story was not doing well and was ranking low on official polls. At AnimeFest 2012, she stated it was also because Kyoko's strong personality wasn't well-received by the magazine's readers — interestingly enough, in the same panel, she also mentions that this was also the reason why she gave Mitsuki from Full Moon a shyer personality.
• Creator Breakdown: Arina admits that she was not feeling emotionally well during the creation of the series, which is likely part of a reason why it's only three volumes long and the first chapter of the third volume has them find the other seven Strangers within one page and the revelations of the story being done very fast, as it had been prematurely Cut Short due to low rankings in the reader polls.
