• What Could Have Been: At one point, France could be ruled by a collaborationist government under Xavier Vallat, who would pursue closer cultural and political ties to Germany, to the point where they would adopt Frankish culture and make German lessons mandatory in school. The path was cut after the member of the development team who created it left and wasn't able to finish it.
