- Outdated by Canon: With the story starting in Fall 2020, right in the middle of DuckTales (2017)'s final season, some details don't quite line up with what the show's last episodes ended up revealing.
- April, May, and June are adults in this fanfic, being college students during The Legend of the Three Caballeros arc. The final episodes of the show would end up revealing that not only do the characters exist in the DuckTales continuity and are the same ages as Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby, but that they aren't even Daisy's nieces. They're Opposite Sex Clones of Scrooge, and Webby is actually April. The final chapter handwaves this calling it a coincidence.
- The director of S.H.U.S.H. during Donald's spy days was J. Gander Hooter, though "The First Adventure" would have Beakley become the director of the organization during Donald's childhood. But if one really wanted to, they could argue that this one could be handwaved as her taking the position on an interim basis.
