• Fake American: The President of the United States is played by Aussie actor Michael Pate.
• The Cast Showoff: Christopher Lee said in his autobiography that the main reason he did the film was that he'd never previously had an opportunity to show his musical abilities on-screen. "Name Your Poison" even gives him lines in German and Italian to show off his command of multiple languages.
• Screwed by the Network: It was supposed to have a U.S. theatrical release and got as far as a full ad campaign...and then, according to co-screenwriter Steven E. de Souza (as discussed in a Patreon bonus episode of the '80s All Over podcast), distributor Jensen Farley Pictures went belly-up and it was cancelled one week before the scheduled release date!
