• Creator Breakdown: The Polyphonic Spree's very existence is the result of Tim DeLaughter's desire to do something positive after the death of Tripping Daisy guitarist Wes Berggren.
• Throw It In!: The first album is basically a glorified demo tape, recorded to be shopped around to record labels. However, everyone liked it enough that Tim eventually decided to release it publicly as is.
