- Old Shame: As revealed in the post-season-two Q&A, both Kevin and Sophie are embarrassed about the Kiss of Distraction Juno uses on Alessandra in the first season. They were pushing so hard to expose Juno's bisexuality that they didn't think of the implications that seemed blaring in 2017.
- What Could Have Been: Sophie and Kevin originally wanted the Penumbra to be a series of one-shot stories with a hard horror slant, like Shaken and Home. The Twilight Zone (1959) is a good comparison. But it most certainly didn't go that way.
