• Corpsing: When Derek spills olives down his front, you can see Marc Evan Jackson (Shawn's actor) start to break before the cut.
• Hide Your Pregnancy: Mindy St. Claire is wearing a very loose 80's suit jacket because Maribeth Monroe was pregnant when they filmed.
• Serendipity Writes the Plot: The Judge changing the IHOP to various more normal looking locations was probably done because it would have been too expensive to have the entire episode take place in a green-screened Eldritch Location. However, this feature works perfectly within the episode, along with leading to the iconic and eponymous moment of Chidi seeing the time knife.
