• Bury Your Art: Deleted in March 2022 during the collapse of the 5.0 lore, due to increasing negativity surrounding it from all involved.
• Creator Backlash:
  • The entire existence of this fanfic is held in poor regard by the HoloFunk development team with the rest of the 5.0 lore, who would eventually reveal that it was excruciatingly painful to work with or pivot.
  • The author of the fic themselves stated in hindsight their regrets with this fanfic, along with HoloFunk's 5.0 story, for focusing too much on Aloe's graduation as a plot element; promising to not feature Aloe in an insensitive fashion for any future projects.
• Development Hell: Was subject to internal scrutiny during the development of 6.0 for the main game that caused it to stop updating, eventually culminating in its cancellation and deletion when the decision was made to abort the 5.0 lore.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: This fic is no longer available on Archive of Our Own due to its deletion. Chapters 1 through 5 are available through archive data on the Wayback Machine, but chapter 6 (containing, among other things, Pico's beatdown, the death of Aloe's father, and the night shift crew's introductions) is considered lost due to improper caching.
• Stillborn Franchise: Was supposed to be part of an anthology featuring HoloFunk's 5.0.0 lore, but its total cancellation and the circumstances behind it have ensured this will never come to pass.
• Write What You Know: The depiction of Kenji's ADHD (where he has trouble sleeping in a motel due to a fight brewing outside which he can't ignore) is based on the author's own experiences with similar issues in spatial awareness.
